Product update: Deeper insights, better exports, and stronger data protection

We’ve gathered an overview of the latest improvements and upcoming features in HallMonitor. As always, the focus is on making it easier and more effective for you to work with your data.

What’s new?

Export of area groups: You can now export both area groups and individual areas as CSV directly from the Statistics Overview. This makes it easier to continue working with the data in your own systems.
Improvements in Insights (Enterprise): The no-show tab now includes a new tool that helps you identify repeated no-shows in specific time slots. You’ll also find an updated table that shows how many minutes of a booking were missed – providing a better foundation for dialogue with user groups.
New Target Summary (KPI module): A new menu item in the Statistics section lets Advanced and Enterprise users track visitor trends and set concrete goals for facility usage. For example: With focus on not just usage as a show or no-show – but on actual number of users – this visualise if you are utilising your larger facilities in a sensisible way, or if small user group could be re-located to a smaller facility.

Weekly notifications: Soon you’ll be able to receive automatic updates from the Statistics Overview directly in your inbox – with your chosen filters. This feature is currently in testing and is expected to launch in June.
Multi-factor login (MFA): From autumn 2025, all users will log in using multi-factor authentication. This strengthens data protection without compromising ease of use.
New AI detection model: We’re currently testing a new AI model that runs directly on the device (edge AI). It already improves counting accuracy and enables more advanced analysis going forward – such as age and gender segmentation. All data is processed locally and is not shared with external AI services.
